New PCM VS my car
You would waste your time and money getting a second computer if you are talking about buying HPtuners.
If you are talking about having someone else tune your computer with their HPtuners, and then swapping back and forth, then the only thing to worry about is resetting the Vehicle Anti Theft system (takes 30 minutes if you do it right the first time), and then getting the Crank Shaft Position Relearned (Take it to a dealer to have that function performed with a Tech2 scanner)

Anti theft only takes 10 minutes unless your impatient. Usually waiting the 10 minutes with everything else off in the run postion is all it takes for the lock to disappear
When HPT unleashes the new Auto Tune feature which tunes the car while you drive (complies a file that works with RTT) will be a god send but you have to make sure everything looks ok before flashing it to the PCM.
HPT is still a solid investment.
Go get your car tuned with HPtuners on the one computer that is already in the car, and love it. You can get more power out of a Stage 2 setup, by just retuning.
