Need input please

I havent bought much for my cobalt lately, and now i have my site set of nitrous, head gasket, and head studs, my mods now are as followed

-xtc cai
-Billetflow 2.7 pulley
-60 injectors/casper harness
-Hp tuners tuned/7k rev limit
-Ported supercharger
-75mm idler pulley
-ngk cold plugs
-Megan racing catback
-B&M shortshifter
-CA 2.5inch d/p with highflow cat
-CA h/e

I want to do a wet 50shot, with head gasket, and studs, with those mods, just want some iput with guys runing a shot on stock motor moded close, or somewhat to what i have, just want to know basically if it could work out with a good tune, any input is app.

I did notice the absence of a header in your list. How come?

Sorry it isn't input to your question.

Still lookinf for a header also, maybe the CA header, dont know, i was also thinking of throwing some pistons in just to be safe, just need others input on doing it safely, if possible.

You should be ok with that however if your going to be spraying a lot I would be worried about the pistons holding up. Make sure you have a wideband and possibly a egt so you can keep an eye on that thing.

I agree about the gauges, and header upgrade. I also want to add that you may want to think about some cooling mods, such as a H/E to keep that bad boy nice an cool. That will put alot of strain on your supercharger if ya don't. Good luck man

I honestly dont know but I feel like chiming in. When/IF your motor blows come talk to me or even VictoryRedSS. Either of us can tell you how to properly build your motor to withstand a 300shot of nitrous safely! woot! anyway good luck with that I want to see a dyno sheet. Should be nice!

I also have a CA h/e, what do you think 06nos, you think the motor can take it with my mods, plus monitoring gauges, gasket, and sutds with a 50?

I would get a header before I did Nitrous. JBP Header is quite a bit of money but it will bolt up to what you have already and the performance gains they claim is very good. then 10:1 pistons. then N2O. you will gain 50 to 75 HP without the nitrous I would estimate. then you can pile on 125 shot without worries.(you said you were doing Head gasket and studs to right)

Diamond pistons 9.5:1, Cometic Headgasket, Golden Eagle headstuds (better and cheaper), and your nitrous that you desire.

I would rock a 2.6"pulley and header instead of nitrous though. I'm just scared of the juice for some reason.

AEM UEGO and Aeroforce Interceptor gauges. By the way I think nitrous is worse than adding 1-2 lbs more boost. Just make sure you tune for it since you have HPT.

I run a 50 shot and dyno'd at 292 with my 2.85

I have also run a 75 shot as well, but you need to watch your timing at that point.

I don't think you need any other mods, the stage 3 does mention any other mods with a 50 shot.

I just ordered the hahn header, I will let you know how that turns out.

You have seen my car, but you need to go for a ride.

No problem. I understand why you want to stay with the 2.7" now and don't blame you for doing so. You think Billetflow or someone else could get/make a 2.6" to fit on their hub?

Thanks zinner, Yea i have seen your car with the shot in it, and when you purged it, really cool, i think i want to get the hahn header also, for time being i think i want to stick with a 50shot, gasket, studs, and pistons, to be on the safe side, and of course the usual monitoring gauges, i would hope biletflow would make a 2.6.
