New Re-designed SLP Catback Exhuast!
New Re-designed SLP Catback Exhuast!
I know all you guys have herd how the SLP Loudmouth cat back sounds like crap on our cars
. Well today I went to SLP to have my downpipe checked out for a possible leak. (There was none, my stock exhaust is just rattling). I used to have the SLP cat-back exhaust and I told them how even with their Header/downpipe setup it was way to loud. The engineer told me about the powerflo muffler, that is a lot quieter than the loudmouth II. I asked him that if they were to put the loud mouth resonator in the system along with the powerflo muffler, would they be interested in re-making it for my car. He told me he doesnt see why not and that he would give me a call back if sales department would approve of it. I didn't get a mile away from them and I got a call from the engineer saying when did I want to come back to do it and for a discount.
The manager said they value customer feedback alot and want to make it right. They are also having a hard time keeping the new G8 cat-backs quiet as well lol. Next month I'm going back to get it installed for free
.
Cliff notes: Asked SLP if they could makes changes to their cat-back, they agreed and now I'm getting the new cat-back for cheap!

Well hopefully with a resonator and the powerflo muffler it will have a completely different sound and or quietness.
If the clamps hold and there is no leaks, i'll try and keep it that way
