We have dedicated our resources to one effort, connecting rods and connecting rods only. This dedication has created one of the most impressive success records of any automotive aftermarket parts supplier. Carrillo has supplied components to the winners of virtually all venues of Motorsports throughout the world. The list includes Formula 1, 2, and 3, NASCAR, NHRA, IRL, World Rally, AMA, Superbike, Trans AM, CanAM, GTP, SCCA, Sprint Cars, Modified, Land Speed, the list is practically endless.
For good reason.

To my knowledge no one has actually broken a rod in the LSJ unless they were complete morons. High ratio + forged = little stress on the actual rod. These big things would be nice for someone making like 1000hp in the LSJ though I guess.

Just takes 1 to break, and it will most likely take out more than the price of the rod

Most people don't understand how a business runs and the percentages you guys need to make to make the business worth having.

I know you're doing the best you can.

::scratches head::

not to throw stones here, but the delta chassis as a whole isn't real keen on dropping large sums of cash to make power as it is. there is only a handful of us who aren't afraid to drop the coin it takes to make the power, but only a handful. i honestly think getting eagle to do a set of rods for half the price would have been a better option due to the money tendencies of this community.

just my opinion.

so that person is going to drop 15k for the trans, mounts, converter, shift linkage, and all the little things to go with it to handle that level of power. the beloved manual trans in them now would cry like a school girl with no candy on Halloween.

original author edit: if you're going to edit my posts. it would be nice for you send me a pm notifying me of such.

No they would have to be honed.

nothing like paying $10,000 to get a 400hp motor

they make bad ass rods, no question about that, but most people around here bitch about paying $400 for a kit that adds 40whp

You will need to hone it. They leave it a bit smaller diameter in the rod, so you can perfectly match to the whrist pin in your piston. Very common practice.

No one makes the power to need these. I'm not discrediting them for working, but they are over kill (for the price, as Area already mentioned) This is not the place for a $1k rod set. Not the delta platform.

We now added an option for the tool steel (H-11) and multi phase bolts for the H beam here. In addition we added the SA (Super A) style rods.
