Exclamation New to the scene many questions

Sup everyone im kinda new to the whole cobalt/4cyclider scene i have owned all mustangs. So can someone tell me what the best mods are to do for most power and least amount of cost?

I have just put on a AEM cold air intake and GM stage 2 this week.

Could someone explain the meth kit a little and give me some other ideas for mods!?

if you already have ordered the gm stage 2 kit, get a 2nd heat exchanger for the intercooler system, a header and downpipe (i recomend a clear image midlength, works great), a 2.5" exhaust. at that point, you could pulley down to a 2.9", but thats the max on stage 2 injectors and tune. in all honesty, id recomend if your not under warrenty return the gm stage 2 kit and order the OTT performance stage 1 kit, itll make way more power and has a much better tune.

meth/ water injections is used as a cooling mod and octane booster. the water helps to disipate the heat in the combustion chamber whle the meth increases the octane, you will get the best gains with a tune, with the higher octane it alows the tuner to pull timing. i'm sure other people could give you a better describtion but thats it in a nut shell.

other mods, a smaller pulley, nothing smaller then a 2.9 with 42lbs injectors. meth is a very good mod, heat exchanger, rotated mounts etc look around and you'll find good stuff, anyhow welcome to the site enjo your stay, a few things is be sure to use the search button there big on that here and there are alot of ass holes but also alot of good people just filter your way through and take anything negative with a grain of salt and you'll be fine

The simple answer is nitrous. If you get a header and downpipe to help with the flow then strap a 75 shot on there you will be right in the 310whp range.

okay. this is NOT a trick question.

How do you think an 07 mustang v6 manual with intake and exhaust, that ran a best of 14.8.. do against me, a stock cobalt that goes consistant 14.2's???

btw, welcome to the site.

Boost isn't low. I only saw 15 on STG 2 (summer). And a tune is needed for meth. If your worried about your warrenty any non GM calibration void's it.

yeah if u trying to keep ur waranty you cant get meth... or almost any good mod for that matter. how much longer are u under waranty?? i personaly would recomend ottp(over the top preformance) stage 1 and get meth with a heat exchanger you should be pritty good for the moment. if ur lookin for more power get cooling mods and smaller pully

you could also go the big jump up and get a TVS which is a direct replacement for the m62 eaton supercharger. with some tuning u will be up at around 300+ with no spray very good mod in my opinion.
