mine has done this since i got it and i have about 7500 miles on it.

You'll know whan it does it because it feels like a misfire, or multiple misfires in my case. It's mostly in the lower gears, but you should feel it more there due to gearing. Usually happens under 4500 rpm, then misteriously smooths out at higher rpm. Such as this morning, cool and damp out, the 1-2 shift made the car fall flat on its face feeling as if it was dying out almost.
It's weird. I'd like to think that the newest reflash would smooth it out for all rpm ranges, but I also hoped the same would happen when I installed the stage 2 with its new flash.
Any ideas?
Mine does that too, after it's been sitting a while. Say I park it overnight and drive it the next day. It's only the initial 1-2 shift, when I hit 2nd gear, it falls on it's face. But after that, initial shift, it doesn't do it the rest of the day.
I know you're getting the is a lot, but mine does this too. Under light acceleration in first or second gear it will surge in really fast waves. I just end up shifting cause it gets worse unless i let off or accelerate harder. It now has 17,000 miles on it and it still does it every once in a while though not as much. I dunno if there are any fixes or if this is just my car, but i always figured it was cause the computer couldn't work out how much gas to give because it was light pressure on the accelerator. That may be a load of crap but that's my theory.

21K miles on mine now, and it's getting worse.
I'll have to take a scan shot of it next week and see how the air/fuel/spark mix tables look.
Otherwise it's a nice car. I even got 42.X MPG once! But most of the time it's 33-36.
