Next Mods?

Okay heres the deal. I have about $800 to spend for my next mods. I know I want the GMPP touring exhaust but I'm torn between the GMPP Manifold and the Dual pass intercooler plate. Which one do you guys think I should get after the exhaust? They are about the same price from CED. Or if anyone has any suggestions just let me know. My mods are in my sig. Thanks in advance!

Bump!

I put the plugs in when I put the smaller pulley on so I couldn't tell any difference. The plugs are on step colder to help with the heat of the smaller pulley. They are really nice plugs though. I haven't had any problems yet. You should get the 2.90 pulley and the plugs for your set. It pulls harder in the high rpms in second and third!!

I would get the exhaust. With stage 2 you are flowing more air so you need an exhaust to handle that. It'll gain you a decent bit of power to... plus the sound.

If you are doing the ehxaust... go ahead and do the GMPP manifold too.

Yeah, I'll probably have to get new tires before I get the engine/tranny mounts. The tires I have now are the stock pirellis and they don't do much hopping only spinnning. So first gear is a bitch in my car.

bump!

I think you should get that dual pass end plate sooner than later. A little insurance policy on your engine is a good thing. Cooler IAT's kick ass.

I agree with the above posts that you should go with the manifold but I think you should consider the performance exhaust over the touring, it has a nice growl to it. Anyway good luck bro.

Yeah, I was going to get the performance but I want the quietest possible so noone will expect to get their ass wooped. And their the same gains but I'm willing to pay the extra money for the quiet sound. I want my car to be a sleeper. If there was a way to not change the exhaust sound and gain the performance I would probably do that. I don't really want people to know that I've done anything to my car.

Well, Not that kind of sleeper. I want people to know that it's a cobalt ss. If I take that off then noone will want to race me. I want it look and sound as close to stock as possible. Besides, I like the wing. It sets me apart from the rest.

bump for the night crew!
