O2 sensors Interchangeable?

Ive been throwing a P1133 code lately, and I think it may be due to no lift shifting and burning out my primary O2 sensor...but I could be wrong.

Basically what I want to know is can I unplug my primary sensor and put my downstream one in its place since it isnt even in the car anymore? Or are they tow completely different sensors?

Thanks guys

you cant do it. the primary o2 sensor is treated to withstand a sertain temperature rating. you will burn it up for sure if you put yur downstream in its place. the primary sensor is pricey but you gotta pay to play

i dunno why your NLS would mess it up unless its totally burned to **** due to the extra fuel igniting in the exhaust. they are usually rated for a really high temp. but its understandable. i just bought a primary sensor and if i remember correctly (which dosnt happen often) i paid like a hundo for it

Thanks dustin! That makes it way easier on the wallet. I think 2-stepping and NLS made it start to go for some reason since the CEL usually comes on after that. The car runs fine so Ill let it go for a while and maybe try to clean it. Thanks guys!
