odd occurrence after installing ZZP kit....

I will say, my idle is actually pretty good! It doesnt hunt around like my buddies (he has an injen CAI, i have AEM). Anyways, i get slight vibs at idle, im assuming its because of the misfire code...normal.

However, my DIC oil percentage went down to zero upon installing the ZZP PCM. wtf? Was no big deal, but i just was wondering if thats happened to people? I reset it to 100%, but previously it was at 86%.

well the oil life is monitored within the PCM so when you replaced it, it would have changed it to whatever it was set to when it was programmed.

Well thank you. I didnt know that

However, if that was the case, it went to 0%, my car didnt notify me i needed to change my oil, like it does when you get to 5%. I thought that was odd?

I'm pretty sure at 0% it stops telling you to change the oil. Like it gives up. ha, no joke.

Turn the key to the on position and press the gas pedal down all the way 3 times to reset the oil life meter back to 100%.

Does that work?

I've always reset mine with the DIC buttons. I'll try the pedal next time I dump the oil

Nah, info/reset pulls up the DIC options. Never a fan of hitting the gas pedal...

But it will always tell you to change your oil soon...Mine got to 0%, thats how i know
