A nice name brand complete Cat-Back has been tested on the car it goes on. A custom exhaust is simply thrown together by some who has no clue what will perform only what fits.

I will pay th e extra $$$ to have a tested and name brand product on my car.

Well yeah alot of people can just through one together but if you do your homework its not hard to come up with a very well designed system that works for half the price. Have a shop bend 2.5" pipe w/resonator and your choice of muffler it will perform and sound just as well as the others not to mention everything will be welded together instead of being bolted together. Save your money for other mods .

OK, Yes you can still se a HP increase from a custom exhaust but what about noise?

The major name manufactures tuned the resonator and muffler to the car.

Anyone can slap a ricer sounding exhaust together, I prefer a refined sound.

And something that's backed by at least some sort of a "this won't f-up your car"/"we stand behind our product" guarantee. Might not be lifetime or what not but if you drive down the road 2 weeks later and your exhaust falls to pieces or something else goes wrong with it, you know someone's going to fix it.

they also have a wide range of resonator lengths to suite each persons taste . Anyways not trying to debate on whats best, as nothing is really "the best" just letting people know there is an alternative to the expensive pre-made systems out there that when done right sound and perform just as good.

ok, I finally got off my butt and got a clip of the GMPP exhaust in action. It was windy and the temp was 44... I got my salesman to go with me and film this. He actually took 4 videos, one of which you can hear the wind more than the exhaust.
1st Run
2nd Run

Enjoy

SOLD (when I have the money for it that is). By far the best exhaust I've heard so far, you should ask your salesman if they'll give you a commission on it. My hands are tied as far as purchases go right now because I'm in between jobs, but as soon as I hear back from my interview from the other job (I'm hoping I have it) I will probably be picking this up.

Yeah, it sounds incredible!!!!! I have a lot I WANT to do to my car right now, but no $$$$ to do it with. My current job only nets me about $130/week BEFORE taxes. If I get this other job I've interviewed for I will be making $200+ a week AFTER taxes so I'll have a lot more "freedom" financially. Plus I should be getting a pretty nice tax refund this year.

I really would like to keep my SS all GMPP but, does anyone know if theres any truth to the rumor that GMPP is also going to have an exhaust made by Corsa?

Thank you Doc for the videos also. Those will really help anyone who is considering the GMPP exhaust.

Anyone here have the GMPP touring yet?
