Also someone else was saying that when the hood was closed it rubbed on the intake 
All of these issuses might not happen to everyone but I don't want to take that chance. Almost everyone is bitching about the filter hitting the bumper and it also rubs in the area of the grounding screw.

I've got the Injen intake on my 05 SS/SC. I've had it on for about a week and no CEL yet. I've put about $40 worth of gas through it. I can notice the throttle responce alot better now then it used to be.

What colour looks good?
I noticed you can choose colours of intakes, like black or polished?
I have a black SS/SC and was wondering if getting a black intake would look good? the stock intake is the black plastic so maybe the polished look would be more noticable.
What have most people got?

On a black car that is a hard one. I like both the black and the polished.
The 2.2 and 2.4L Injen intake comes as 2 parts, it can be installed as a full cold air intake, or just a short ram only using 1 part
No option to only by the short ram.

About the CEL, i've posted this many times but i just feel ppl should know. I got the same CEL (P0171) a couple of times on my 06 w/o an intake. But there is an injen intake that should be arriving for me tomorrow-ish! I cant wait for the whine of an intake combined w/stage 2
Check out cobalt-addiction.com for the Fujita around $250. I got a K&N no CEL light at all!! Installation is time comsuming to do it right.

basically, it sees an amount of air based on the diameter of the pipe it was meant to be in. when you increase the size of the pipe, air gets by that the MAF doesn't account for, so there is more air coming out than going in and the ECU sees it and red flags.
