No I got the 82#and TI retainers for 50% off on Black friday

My other purchases have been RSFS with DW300 pump, 2.8, Head studs, cometic head gasket, LSJ power book, CED deluxe timing chain kit, and all new gaskets

Im going to pull the head to make it easy... the only thing I have no idea what im doing is the Return sytle, I have never touched a fuel system in my life lol

Mostly due to ppl slapping them on a stock block and head surface... Cosmetics are great but only with a near perfect surface finish. Stock hg has sealant to help it.

I personally called cometic and ask them what the surface needs to be, they said a 54 RA or finer

and as area seaid, stock head gasket is more than enough

Hmmmmm. I picked up a Cometic head gasket. Would I be better off just getting an OEM one?
