What is going backwards? I'm saying the lsj has a better rod/stroke ratio than the l61

the rod is longer, yes, but the rod ratio is much worse than the lsj. Just because the rod is longer doesn't mean that it rotates more freely. the rod length is only part of the equation.

I'm agreeing with you. Typically longer rod gets you to shorter crank length (faster rotating) or shorter piston (less weight to rotate). My gen 1 sbc 406 came with 5.56 rods and it now has 5.7's. wish I would have spent the money and thrown 6.0 in it. Shorter piston, less weight, easier to handle higher rpm.

the rod does not shorten anything with the crankshaft, the rod length changes piston speed at different points in the stroke and where the piston sets in the bore during travel, a longer rod gives you less side load on the cylinder and is easier on the rod bearings so it cuts friction and as for it is divided up into 2 parts half of the rod and piston goes to rotational weight the other half goes to static weight

Yeah I didn't say that right. I'm thinking total crank movement. You surely knew what I meant.

Anyone here have 3.0" TVS pulley they don't need. Went back to pump gas and the 2.8 is a little much.

I am in the process of selling the car and the guy who is interested wanted to know about getting it tuned without the meth injection. So far the car doesn't like any timing with the 2.8 and shitty 91 pump. Thinking of going up to a 2.9 or 3.0 to help it out a little.

I noticed in those last couple of pictures that you both have some sort of return type fuel system with regulator? Did you add that or did your cars come that way? What are the advantages?

They are aftermarket. Allows more fuel when you get to point of bigger builds. Also allows you to regulate fuel pressure.

You both running E85? Where do you get fuel systems? Fairly straightforward conversion?

Sorry for all the questions just something I never considered and didn't know I might need.

Depends on your setup if you would benefit. Zzp has it as well as summit racing. That's where I got mine. But I don't just have the boost reference system. I also have the walbro 450 fuel pump and 160# injectors. And yes I'm on e85
