The only thing that sucks about v-bands is when you try to sell the exhaust. No body understands them nor appreciates their function.

The problem with mine is that my friend just kind of eyeballed how much he had to take off the zzp dp to get it to match up with the vibrant header with the adapter cone we used so the angles of the flanges are way off. They dont meet up flush and my dp has a big low spot in it. Im having him weld in a resonator to the dp and shorten it up to fix the leaks, but we have both been busy lately so it hasn't gotten done yet.

I installed my new 3" Chambered Resonator from ZZP the other day. I am very happy with the way it sounds. Its is just a touch louder then their 2.5" setup but it is not too restrictive.

one question guys getting ready to build my spare head
got a deal on the motor it has sugar ran through it(killed the rings and pistons)

has 80k think im safe to use the guides and valves(due to the sugar)
wire brushed them up and they look pretty good

lifters and rockers look to be in great shape

What does sugar do to rings and pistons that it would not do to valves?

Factory valves are plenty durable as long as they are not damaged. Put some new valve stem seals in though for peace of mind.
