Official TVS Thread!!!
If your still creating the same boost, it doesn't matter what s/c is sitting on top of your manifold.
The only thing that will change are your iat2 and fuel trims by a small margin. Your tune in reality won't need to be touched.
now if your tvs is flowing more air, creating more restriction @ the head, creating greater PSI... then yes... your fueling and over all timing curve will need to be adjusted...
if a 2.6 m62 makes 18 psi, and a tvs 3.1 makes 18 psi... absolutely nothing changes, in fact your car wont even know the difference.
will you gain hp? yes, tvs is more efficient, suffering from less parasitic loss
will your iat2 drop? by a small margin, the tvs is turning slower, cre ating less heat.
have you just spent way to much money for 15-20whp? YES... pulley the @#$^#!@^ down and add some octane to the mix

zzp stage two cams ordered as well as their harness with the EV6 connector for plug and play of my IDC 1000's
everything i needed has been ordered to complete final assembly. Honing cylinder sleeves today after work and assembling short block. Ported head is almost done as well
the speed shops around here are pussies and i didnt feel like setting up the solid lifters. zzp stage two are almost the same specs as the gmrs and can use stock lash adj cuz of the stock base circles

A week and no talk? I'll give an update. I traded someone on here my 2.8" pulley for a 2.7". A friend let me borrow his HPT so I'm getting BennyHHR (zrated89's tuner) to remote tune me. Just gotta set up everything on my lap top and learn how to do the basics like logging haha.
Zrated I took your advise and bought some axels I found used to take to the track. Give me a little piece of mind to do some hard launches with the drag radials. Can't wait to get it dialed in and hit the track!

i love them...u can definately feel a good kick with them and the 8k redline is nice also..my favorite part is the lope tho but i hav the idle turned up a little high (900-1k) that way ppl dont kno wuts done to the car they just think its idling a little high
Cool so they do lope at idle I was wondering if they did.
Believe it or not my 12.0@117 was done at Richmond. (**** track) had I been at dinwiddie it would have been an 11.7-11.8 pass all day
I think I will be trading my ZZP 2.5" cat-back for a 3" ZZP cat-back. Since I switched to the 2.7" it feels like the car is running out of breath @ redline. And I am not sure if ZZP's new resonator is designed for cars with high HP.
