Been having some troubles tuning. No matter how much timing was pulled up top my car kept knocking. James said to ditch the cat so I said screw it sure. This is what I found. After swearing like crazy bashing the cat out I'm catless now! The car actually sounds pretty good! The ZZP resonator is saving my ass no question lol.

This has gotta be good for making power right? Haha.

Ya retuning me with the 14gph nozzle. My previous tune wasn't very good at all. As you know with all the questions I asked you haha. Ill be happy when it's over. I hate logging lol.

Lol it came with my long tube header. I believe OTTP uses a magnaflow high flow cat.

It's the best resonator on the market no question. Ya its the chambered one. I absolutley love it. Even catless my car is very quiet and no rasp.

 

How long have u had ur cat in? I've got the zzp long tube with the magnaflow cat and am curious if its gonna b a problem

 

Not that long actually. Like a year and a half.

 

Damn. That's about how long I've had mine. May have to search more into this. Did u install ur zzp resonator or u have a shop do it? Notice any difference in performance?

 

Ya I installed it myself. I have a buddy with a hoist and welder. I'm sure the resonator restricts a little but nothing that is going to make or break you. I never noticed a visible restriction difference. I sure did after I bashed my cat out though lol.

 

Started with 25* and afr was around 11.3-11.8 in the first log and 0kr but then I went a little leaner and richer beginning and wholly bam kr and afr wasn't accurate to what I was commanding. And then I said something's wrong and bam. Cat is fucked . So he for rid of the cat and no kr and afr is so much better

So what happeed to mikes car?

 

Yup for 300 they made me a 3 in chambered muffler and a short 6in tip double Walled slash cut 3.5 exit

 

He brought it to the trifecta guy to put the stock tune back into it but I guess the reflash didn't take for some reason and he didn't realize it right away. You are probably going to have to put a half ass tune togeather for him so we can log and not blow his car up on the stock tune lol.

For what it's worth I would pull off the downpipe and look for piece of mind. I don't know how bad ZZPs long tube is but I had my downpipe off in 15 minutes. Otherwise you could be wasting precious tuning time haha.

 

That's bs.... Try hooking your laptop up and reading his file to make sure he didn't have a stock file on his car from the get. But I will need to have his file first so I can use his vin/serial number so you don't have to pay for a different file. You can compare the files but you need to do it right lol

 

I was so hoping to have this tune started . Dustin you free friday night to get this started. He is gonna try to reload the stock tune tomorrow night here at work.

So just a little pointer Tyler. To much meth isn't good because your gonna start relying on your meth injection as your main source of fuel. And methanol systems are always key on spray or pressure depending on voltage.

 

I hardly use it for fuel at all.
