Damn I've had no issues with my $30 glowshift 30 psi gauge...

Autometer is to pricey to have this problem.

don't mistake your amazing ability to drive well with your actual power progression from the m62 to the tvs. Only way you know how much power you really made would to of dynoed both blowers on the same dyno.

Hatrickstu didn't do to bad on a m62 and a 2.8 in the past either. I think he actually got you by .2 of a second Kenny :P when you were on the m62 that is

werent they done on different dynos though

ahh thats right... you were on streets... goes to show though. you dont need much power to run a decent time in this car... the issue is hooking

whatever pixie dust your using it's working

your trapping higher can be a variety of variables. you were on a 2.7, he on a 2.8... track conditions, etc... etc...

No doubt I'm sure your tune was stronger

Just like Joe talks about your engine being freakishly quicker; between the variety of lsjs I've tuned there are distinct differences as well I've noticed.

yes different dynos. she always pulled good, but driving and shifting will make a car feel faster as well. stu ran at one of the faster tracks in the country. Alot of variables like you said though. And u definately dont need alot of power to run fast times.

I dont get it there is a TC on a 5557 on E that ran slower than i did and he was on slicks as well. These guys need to learn to drive hes around 450whp

I just think you came out of the womb doing the 1/4 or something.. Something is not right/normal with you and your driving abilities.

P.S... This is my new gardening system I got going on.... 24gph.

Atm peak torque is at 22.5-23* and peak HP is 24.5*

A 2.6 tvs setup on a badmab with 3"exhaust will peak torque between 4600-5000 rpm.
Stock cams and stock exhaust ports unfortunately restrict peak HP to between 6600-6900.

You may ask why... Why would I not just give him a few more degrees at peak and continue scaling to 27-27.5 by redline.... "Ya Steve! More timing moh powah!"

That reason is... You need to get off your duff and go find out for yourself
The answer is actually in one of my tvs, twinscrew, mp90 threads.

Not a clue man

I've never played with your head combination on the dyno

straight from ZZPs site:

-The Stage 2 cams are the next step, they will raise your powerband about 700-1000rpm, they will make peak power around 7500-7800rpm! They will require neutral balance shafts.

If I were to guess your peaking torque around 5k... Aside from flow, the way James sculpts your timing table will play a role.

Hit up the dyno and have James find out for you; he would get to experiment a bit and show you the different curves which can be created at different cylinder pressures.
The great thing about e-85 is you can really take advantage of it's near limitless ability to advance timing how ever you like on your well flowing head combination using a 2.6 TVS pulley @ 10:1 Comp.
