Friday i went out and started my car. All i could hear was was valve train noise. so i opened the hood and it sound like there was no oil in the motor. So i turned the car off and pulled the dipstick and there was only a drip on the very end of the dipstick. So i added 3.5 quarts to get it back to full. Then i started to wonder where the hell the oil went. I had no residue on the back of my car and no oil leaking out any where. So Im all pissed off at this time so i headed in to the stealership and the said " its normal to burn one quart per 1000miles" then the serive writer said i cant get you in till tuesday. I said ok how about if my car blows up or something happens. He said all i can tell you is check the oil more. I said i should have to check the oil in the car it only has 9000 miles on it and its been here for every oil change. So im worried the GM wont fix anything that might be wrong with it. I started it this morning and the noise was gone. I have my fingers crossed that they find the reason for so much oil burn off or whatever. Anybody else have problems with oil burnoff.
