A local pennzoil or something like that would do it for around 70. Pennzoil Ultra ftmfw btw, but use what you like.

just buy the stuff yourself man!
takes no time at all. all you need it a jack and jack stands, ratchet, extention, 3/8th wobble, special socket, 15mm, and oil catch can. boom your done in 10-15 min.

yeah man do it yourself. all you'll need is (if I recall correctly) a 10 mm wrench for the oil drain bolt under the oil pan, and a 1.25" socket for removing the oil filter canister. A jack is needed to get under the car.

If you don't have a socket that size, just go to an autozone or something and ask to borrow one and change the oil filter there right before, during or after your oil change. that's what I did the first time when I didn't have anything over an inch. I've changed the oil 4 times in my balt since I've had it 2 years ago and I must say it's pretty damn easy and takes 15-20 minutes.

When you're done, don't forget to reset your oil life percentage on your DIC. Do this by turning the key but not starting the car (to ACC) and slowly depressing the gas pedal all the way to the floor three times in a row, then turn the key off.

That's everything and anything you need to know for an oil change. Oh, and use synthetic No napa crap.

Just be sure you put enough oil in. Ours are about 6.5 quarts, while the 2.2/2.4 engine is 5.

I put 6 quarts exactly.. adding the .5 quart is gonna make a difference ?..

I dont know where you get 60 but I get my mobil one 5 quarts for 26 bucks and my K and N oil filter for 12 buck 60 sounds a little steep. I have only spent that much when I use royal purple in the summer due to racing!

I'm pretty sure the manual calls for 7, which is why I only short it half a quart.

I just got my SS/SC not too long ago, and I did an oil change, Mobil-1 Synthetic Extended Performance 5w-30.. Long story short, 6 quarts was a little over half on the dipstick.

6.25 was "full" for me. Will the .25 hurt if lack there of..? No.

Meh, point being just make sure you're on the full line. I've heard way too many stories about people only putting 5qts in instead of the amount our engine needs.

As long as the oil is within the 2 mark on the dipstick you are perfectly fine. 6.25 is what I always add. 7 quarts will be over filling it.

I would do the same thing if someone else changed my oil, but from experience I can tell you that its annoying as **** and makes you screw up more if someone is looking over your shoulder while your changing their oil lol.

LSJ's vary from 6qts-6.5qts.

The manual states 6qts, mine has always needed 6.5qts.
