Oil filter??

how much does a good oil filter cost for an 07 ss/sc??
and shud i put 6 bottles of mobil 1 5w-30 or 6 1/2?

Go to your dealership and buy the cap, o-ring and filter together. It's about $11 and well worth it. The o-ring tends to wear out and then you end up with a leak. I usually put right aroun 5 1/2 quarts in mine.

I put in 6 1/2 because I like the oil up to the full line on my cars. 6 quarts should be some where in the safe range

i heard of a few ppl saying the same thing 5.5 shows full on theres also. 6.3 shows way over.
