Oil pressure sender

How Many of y'all have your aftermarket oil pressure senders tapped into the oil galley on the rear of the engine below the header? It seems like the sender will be really close to the header and I'm worried heat may ruin or kill it.
Thoughts?
Experience?

I know there is, but my question does not pertain to removing the stock sending unit.

I'm asking if anyone has used the rear block plugs and encountered issues from manifold heat since they are so close.
