And before we even get started.... I know how to use the search button and im sure there are plenty of threads but im on my sidekick and limited to time and the internet isn't fast on it otherwise I would have searched..... if ur going to be an ass and say use the search button don't bother saying anything... ok what I want to know is what is our stock pulley size? And 2, is it possible to go smaller with out a retune, if so what is the size I can go to without a tune. Thanks!! And remember don't flame me

Search......................

But really, stock size is 3.06 I believe. You can drop pulleys without tuning but your injectors will hate you, and you could run into problems. It is better to not cut corners when moding, save some more money if you cant afford a tune or to drop pulley sizes properly.

Ya I saw someone selling their 3.0 zzp with hub for 70 bucks and was just curious because I have no one with hptuners here in iowa to tune it. So I was just seeing if there were any options out there. But thanks for your help

So stock is 3.35, now looking at that going to a 3.0 def won't be good being stock, even though I am stock tuned with hptuners... so is there a size smaller than stock that would be safe to run? Sorry I can't search due to the fact im on my phone, and im such a noob with modding superchargers lol

From what I have seen on other posts, the stock injector IDC is maxed at 6500 RPM. Because of this, I would say that it is not technically "safe" to go to any smaller of a pulley. I am sure there are plenty of people who will say they ran smaller pulleys on stock injectors, I am simply telling you what would be "safe". If you want to run a smaller pulley you should go at least witht he stage 2 or get a tune and bigger injectors.

Maybe I will talk to brian (06black) to see what all he changed when he tuned me at the CED meet in chicago and see if any smaller would be safe. Because I am tuned right now with hptuners but im not sure what all he changed

get a hub make sure its the right bolt pattern which i would suggest to ask nate if he would sell you a hub. A pulley puller, and the knowledge to put it on. if you need a few days to figure out how much everything would cost you i can wait no biggie

you'd prolly be better off gettin a stage 1 upgrade if your lookin for reasonable power gain for now...the stage1 pcm calibration is same as stage 2 from what i hear which leaves you open to change your hub an pulley to something aftermarket so you can change more pulley's freely w/o hassle of fitting the gm hub
