i dont know much about f/i but dont people normally brag about having more boost?

Ummmm... that kinda depends really. With a roots style supercharger though, if two people are using the same size pulley and redline, the person with the lower boost is more than likely making more power of the two because their engine is actually using the increased airflow more and pushing it through the system faster. Of course, this is assuming that the person with the lower boost doesn't have any leaks or such.

Plus on the SS/SC's style SC, once you go past around 18 pounds of boost (modified by weather/altitude) , your effency shoots to hell.

whcih is why im sticking to my 2.85, roughly 17 psi depnding on condtions, im planning on the CA DP to lower boost a tad but bump some power, now if it only got here lol.

LOL. I would want to, but I want to make sure that everything is normal and that I shouldn't run into any problems.
