Which one is the Timing Chain Tensioner (PICS)

Im going to be replacing the tensioner, i believe its #1 but you all let me know.
Is it #1, #2, or #3
#1 is on the back side of the engine closest to the firewall on the passenger side.
Thank you!
Nah, i enjoy looking on here and using the unlimited knowledge the members have to offer, i read countless threads on the timing chain tensioner and if for some reason it helps one other person find it i feel its worth it!
We all learn more and more each day, i just started getting a ticking noise from my engine, and within 20 minutes on the site i was able to diagnose it, but one thing the timing chain search didn't have was a picture of it, so here it is!
Ill do a quick how to when its done since there are many people here who seem to be having the same problem with their ss/sc

i think i have the online version...
you can do a search for it im pretty sure.
sythen, i love your thinking...
there is a point to reposts, and ****.. it brings up more search results.. and i guarentee that youll find out more information every thread.
Personally, this forum has made me quite knowledgeable, because one thread discussion breaks out and people just start throwing out information and opinions, and i take ALL of them, and make my own judgments..
This forum has gotten me out of binds quite a few times.

Thank you!
I just had someone pm me about their ticking and what they could do, hopefully the tensioner will solve my problem and possibly others who don't know.
i wish people had the mentality to want to help others more, i understand it gets repetitive after witnessing the same questions years on end but as the ss/tc's came into production and previous owners are selling and trading in their balts, more and more new people are going to come to the site looking for information and there's plenty of it lol.

yea.. i mean i understand things get repetitive.. and everyone just says to use the search.. but thats not the point of a forum...
Why should it matter anyway... if someones is annoyed by it, then just dont answer the question...
If they are gonna take the time to bash you for not searching, theyll use more words than they would have if they just answered the question.
but, all in all.. there are some really awesome people on here.
