Option B Plug ?

Hey Guys, I am wondering and I know Option B tank and a plug in come from Saturn Ion for their Coolant. Is there a way for me to make 1 that I can read HE temp ? Like get Saturn Plug harness and wire them to my Cobalt Harness then will it show up on DIC features ? Or I have to get IAT Gauges to get reading from them ? I think it would be VERY nice to get them hook on then you can see them on DIC features make them awhole lot easier.

Yeah, Could this work ? Like hook it on Cobalt harness to get the reading on DIC ? I was thinking it would be nice. But if not then I will just get Aeroforce Interceptor.

I'd just get an interceptor. You'll want one anyways to read other stuff.

But to answer your question, I don't know. I don't think you can, though. & I've never heard of anyone doing it. Most people just get an interceptor

I am gonna find that out with Chevy Dealer and I will ask them questions if Cobalt SS SC owner can do this. I will get back to you guys and see what Chevy Dealer say. It will be VERY nice to get that show up on DIC features.

A chevy dealer will have no freaking clue what the hell you are talking about.

If you want something in the DIC, your best route is to see if Vince at Trifecta can code it into a Tune for you.

But overall I think we have discussed this and it will never work. Especially if this info is in the BCM, which I would think it is.

Why would Chevy Dealer don't know what I am talking about ? If they don't know what I am talking about then why would they want to work at Chevy Dealer's ? They should have knowledge of Chevy Cars, Trucks, etc...

How can I get ahold of Vince at Trifecta ?

1-You will never get IAT temperatures from the sensor in the option B tank. The best you could ever get is the temp of the liquid in tank. It won't tell you anything because so little fluid goes into the option B tank that the temperature will tend to stay fairly static.
2-No way to get extra info to dic.

That plug in the tank is the level sensor. Just by an Interceptor and save the time and hassle, and you will get accurate readouts from it
