Tensioner pulley bolt?

I have been searching for a new tensioner pulley bolt, the one you use a torx bit to get out. Mine is stripped and so I'll need a new one when i replace the tensioner and pulley. Anyone know where I can find one? Or a part number or anything

Try Lowes or any other hardware store. You don't have to use a Torx bolt, as long as the thread and length are correct, you are good to go.

I posted in the other thread but..:

The correct part number for that is 11589147, I believe.
I needed this along with a new belt a long time ago and got these ordered by my dealership.

Thanks man, when I look up these part numbers I get no further details other than "BOLT" lol, I will enquire, thanks for the tip..

If the OP could comment on how they fixed the problem, I would still appreciate that, thanks!

No problem, man.
That's what my receipt from Hamilton Chevrolet names the part as well..
I can take a picture of my receipt, if you need.

Oh well, since you verified it, that's awesome. If you could post a picture, then I could use that to convince the dealer. Sometimes they are quite blunt...

Thanks!

I'll get you a scan when I get home from work.
Are they not doing anything when you give them the exact part number?

They don't think it's the right number, they just say "oh, that's a bolt, don't think that's the right thing though..." and they show me the whole assembly again (they want $390 for it). With this, I can show them that it is and we'll be done with it

Hah, you can get the whole thing on here for like $70..
All my receipt does is list the part number then the description says "BOLT", but maybe it'll help.
You're looking for that Allen type screw that's towards the top of the assembly, correct?

If all else fails, look up the part number on GMPD/CED and buy it from there..

I already contacted CED, they say I need to buy the whole assembly too. Do you know where I could get the whole thing on here for $70? That'd be awesome! And yes, I am looking for the bolt that has that Torx head (6 point star), it's a T50 to be precise.

Cheers, thanks again!

Well, buying from somebody that would have it for sale for $70 , but seriously. They may or may not include the bolt either.

That's straight BS from your dealer and CED. I got that exact bolt by itself for $3 and some change from my dealer. Which is what is the part number I gave you.
Like I said, wait until I get home from work, I'll send you a scan of my receipt from my local dealer.
