I talked to GM & asked them if there catback or the aftermarket Borla is better and they said that theres puts out a significant gain in hp but is not as much as the aftermarket Borla. Mostly because GM did not spend as much money making theres as Borla did. I don't know what is different about them i am jus tellin ya what they told me. talk to your dealer bout it. Anyways, mine is ordered & on its way. I'll post pics & sound clips of it when i get it.

Ok... I still don't understand something and maybe you guys can explain it to me.... Why would Borla make their exhaust and sell it for $800 MSRP.. and also make a performance exhaust for GM that you can buy through GM Parts Direct for $500??? If it's the same thing...

I would say that the borla is more exprensive cuz its "Borla". The borla with the GMPP logo stamped all over it is cheaper cuz its not officially "Borla". Kinda like when you go to best buy and you buy a Insignia product its the exact same thing as a kenwood but with insignia printed on it. Your buying the name when you pay the extra hundread bucks and nothing else.

Also don't forget Borla's have the million mile warranty and i doubt GMPP offers anywhere close to that.

i would love to hear the exhaust as well... i'm probably going with the GM version since it's cheaper but i really want to hear the difference between the performance version and the tuning version.... i want a loud but mean sounding exhaust so i think performance might be the way to go.. i don't know why the performance exhaust is cheaper though than the tuning?

Maybe the touring has a longer or different resonator that costs more to make?
