OTT or Intense
I went with the ls4 and so far a like it. its a lot more sensitive down low you kind of have to relearn how to drive the car for a bit. took my a day or so. and your best bet for the belt situation is just to get the stage 2 belt.
OTT makes top notch stuff, and being they design their parts with powell motorsports (the guys that built the time attack cobalt) it makes their parts more atractive. there are a few companies that attempt to transfer their knowledge of the grand prix 3800s/c to the cobalts and the results show that you cant do that.
not sure if thats sarcasm so ill explain my comment a little more. there are a few companies who used to base their buisness around the 3800 s/c, and they do have those cars figured out, what works and what doesnt. the cobalt comes along and they put some stage kits together around it, and as the kit itself is solid, the tuning isnt great and people have problems. it seems they are basing the tune around what works for a 3800 s/c, and as it makes power, the reliability doesnt seem to be there. a cast iron OHV v6 and an all aluminum DOHC 4 valve 4 cyl are completly different beasts.
well i have an intense stage 3 on my cobalt and have had no problems but before anyone says something to me i didnt buy it. when i baught the car it was already on there so i had no choice but better then stock. but im saving money right now for a real tune. but i think either one are not bad but im not too well informed on these products.

I guess the big advantage to our tune is it was devloped on the street and fine tuned on a dyno. The tune is modified for every single car it goes on depending on there mods, its not just a run of the mill tune that we just whipped up in minutes and flash to 100's of cars. There was a lot of thought and planning put into this tune before it was released.
Hope that helps

This thread makes me happy in da pants. I've been heavily considering the OTT Stage 1, seems like there's some strong support for it. That new HE setup seems very legit as well. Quite the core size it has on it.
i know quikredline is john from powell motorsports, i bought my ott mounts through him. i also know that josh is OTT performance, 2 different companies working together. if im wrong on that, please correct me.
i heard nothign but good stuff about it. my kit gets in tuesday if u got anyquestion or want to know how it went and it feels and my opinion write me on tuesday ill be glad to answer ur ?s
ok, you are right, just didn't know if you knew that from the nature of your response, thats all man, we aren't disagreeing with you, you made very valid and correct points.
Let's pay attention to who is actually still making headway on the site now. Can anyone recall the last post or thread that was made by intense? If so then please refresh my memory because I know it's been at least 6 months. I stand behind Sean and Josh at ottp because of the time they put into products. They aren't thrown together to make a profit and shortchange the client. That's also why companies like rebel and jbp have real problems on the site. If customer service and product sucks, then the clientele stops buying and word gets around.
BTW, if anyone can tell me where Wisconson is, I'd like to know. lol Learn to spell before you put someone reputable on blast.
