Im pretty sure they retune you for a very cheap price.. if not for free... ? Esp if you find a problem...
If a company blocks emails from a disgruntled customer, im sure you can persue legal action, so i dont think ott would do that anyway.

i pm'd the one person my whole story, for the fan boys to pick apart if he wishes he can post it on here. it was my experience with ottp when they were just starting their business. if he desides to post my story its pretty well explained in that.

this is what i had posted on 3 other forums a local one and 2 other forums i am on. i post post ***** or anything i am on this website to read and learn and finding good deals in the classifieds, dont talk about my relationships or bitching about something or someone, or other drama crap.

bought the kit Aug 13th great got it in great shape no issues, except you guys forgot to ship as a gift i had to pay 90bux for duty and taxes (strike 1) I go to work install it have issues with the oversized pully ended up going to town on it with a die grinder for 30mins to get it to fit and not rub (stike 2 or should alteast of mention about this issue, an i know i am not the only one) did the security relearn, drove to a dealership paid 60bux to have the crank relearn done. started to drive around car started to stumble and studder anytime i try to go WOT. i ended up regapping the plugs to .40 to keep it from not stalling,(stike 3) and had to change the belt (not an issue just old) cause it was slipping.
scanned it with a scanner at work knocking a little at wot, idle still missfires like nuts, did some troubleshooting with a 15yr ase cert. mech couldn't find anything related to fuel or spark, compression, air, nothing. so we both figured it might be the tune itself went for a drive realized it was everywhere and anywherefor timing, a/f, etc.. (stike 4) i send my stock pcm back paid 15bux mentioned my issues They said they will send me a new pcm with a revamped tune, a month later still no pcm, but they received mine. I asked for my credit (125.00 american) he said no cause he'll send another one to fix the problem, (mean while that 125 is collecting interest on my cc) another month later and many pm's still no pcm asked for tracking # nothing barely any responces from your OTTP. Getting angry car is slower then what it was before i did the stage kit, horrible gas milage, barely stays running at idle.
Posted on their vender forum on cobaltss.net pleeding my case he finally send another one but as usual he ships it 4 days after he said he shipped it, i ended up seeing JeanB on a 1600km round trip home (gas milage would of been nice on taht... easily spend over an extra 200bux in gas cause of this pcm issue) he scanned my car saying the timings way off, fuel is in the low 10's a/f knock is 5-6 degrees but he said its a safe tune just no good for power or gas milage. Since i am pretty sure i pissed off OTTP and visa versa i desided agains putting in his new pcm cause i honestly dont trust or had faith anymore and did want to risk my car on his tune anymore then i already have.
so i told the ups guy that i dont want to accept it. he sends it back but OTTP didnt want to pay for it to be shipped back to him. so it ends up being somewhere between me and OTTP, didn't give a ****, so i call ups and ask for the pcm to be shipped back to me so i got something out of this and in hopes he would refund me my credit, ups as usual cant find it, and they said they contacted OTTP 12th of dec to deal with the insurance, claims so he gets his money for the lost package andfFinally i get my core fee returned to me. pm'd OTTP for over a week. no responce. so currently their is an open issue with paypal and thru my credit card company. cause i have had it and not having any luck.
Today finally got thru to LSJWANNABE aka ottp customer service (haha..) i asked for my 125 core return he said no blames me for his pcm not being correct and blocks me on cobaltss.net and same with his brother fast98 on cobaltss.net so now i am out over 1000.00 + canadian, plus on top of that i will have to drive to ottawa (5hrs each way) pay for a tune, food, fuel, hotel, race track fee's, time off from work. just to fix a problem that OTTP was 2 ignorant to fix the first time.
so that is why i wouldn't buy from OTTP. not everyone has this problem, alot of people like their stuff but many of those people are local or have access to a hp tuner to tweak their can tune.
should of went stage 3 gm... would of been cheaper lol and probally just as fast.

Ive seen what OTT has done, and how they have evolved over the last half a year...
I dont really know how a car running that lean could knock so much.. that just doesnt seem right...
I noticed on hptuners someone once was able to tune out a cam that was mis-installed a complete tooth off... There could have been a problem ott was showing that your buddy just tuned out.
Before i make any decisions, i want to see if OTT responds to this.. if not.. what ever, they dont lose any credit, and that would just leave your situation as plausible...

damn if its true wow thats crazy. if its not then idk what went wrong there. i got nothing bad to say about them on the service they have given me so far. but lets see where this goes. lets not start drama or anything people lets keep ite peaceful and not let this get locked

i dunno, it sounds sketchy at best.
I doubt those guys would just leave you hanging like that, the holidays is a bad time to ship anything, or have anything shipped, it just takes a long time.
Also, refusing to accept something that you harrassed them for months to get for you just doesn't seem at all honorable on your part. After that incident, in which i feel like you aren't telling us everything, the vendor has every right to block you. They tried to help you, tried to correct the problem, and you, immaturely, threw it back in their face, then wondered why they cut off contact.
I doubt those guys would just leave you hanging like that, the holidays is a bad time to ship anything, or have anything shipped, it just takes a long time.

yah i might of been a dick to them. but as i saw it, i am a paying customer i should get what they promised i got dicked around for months at a time waiting for a pcm, that was sappost to be shipped several times never got any tracking # to prove they shipped it, and then i get pm saying it was shipped on wed, and with a traction # it shows it was acutally shipped the next monday.. i paid somethin glike 610bux for their kit (when it first came out basically) and would you trust your car to a company 1200km away that had give you a crap tune, and some parts that didnt fit like it should, and that you pissed off cause the length it took to get a responce theu pm's when it was obvious that they were online, they had my money they didnt have to be fast to respond, i denied the package thinking it would be shipped back to them i get my money back and i could end this. just alotof things were promised which i never received, hell i am slower then i stock. I just didnt trust them or their kit thats why i was a dick and wanted my money back, kit didnt deliever what it was advertised to do, sick and tired of pm and chasing after them to get a respond obviously i got angry and frustrated and bitched them out.
I felt that i did the right thing to protect myself and my car from them screwed it up also, but common 3 ******* months to receive a pcm to fix the problem.. i send my origional pcm back and it took a week for them to get it. and before that their kit itself took 5 business days to get to my door but somehow took them 3 months to ship the pcm to me.
i know they have addressed most of the issues that i have had and several other people (the idler pully was dumb idea.. doesnt even fit, so now they have stage 2 belts instead and a new design idler pully.) Anyone interested in this experience go to the redline forums and look at the post he made about us, see why it got locked, see that we offered him multiple options to correct this yet he took none and continued to trash us.

Nah, not really. If he wanted to go that route, then that's on him. Frustration about something not working right is one thing but he's the only one I've ever seen complain about anything concerning ottp. If the options were there and he didn't take them to resolve issues then oh well.
