OTT Stage 1 Kit Question

Ok I looking at the Stage 1 kit from OTT and after reading what others have said, I think i will be getting this over the GM stage 2, so now I have a few questions.

Kit Contents
2.8" Smoothflow MPS or Stage 2 Pulley (option)
60lb Flowmatched Injectors
Injector Harness
Larger Idler Pulley or Stage 2 Belt (option)
NGK 1 Step Colder Copper Plugs
OTT Stage 1 PCM

Recommended plug gap is .032"

For the options of a 2.8" Smoothflow or a Stage 2 Pulley which would you recommend?

For the Larger Idler Pully or Stage 2 Belt, Which would you recommend?

What does the Recommended plug gap mean?

Is this kit safe to run with only a air box mod?

Is this kit safe to run with only a air box mod and a H/E?

Thanks in advance

1. 2.8 smoothflow

2. smaller belt

3. plugs come gapped at .40 when u buy them. You have to close the gap of the tip of the plug to a certain measurement. To do this u need a Plug Gap Tool...they r like $3 at any autopart store. There should be a how-to on how to gap a plug...or just follow the instructions on the box of plugs or the tool.

4. yes its safe to run just with a airbox mod

5. yes its safe (depending on the tune) to run with just a airbox mod and heat exchanger. As long as the tune is set for just the little amount of cooling mods it will be fine...although you wont see the kits full performance potentional.

tell them in the comments box when you buy the kit that you will only be running the airbox mod. or the airbox mod and heatexchanger. and they'll adjust it for you.

get the devils own meth kit. It will give u cooler IAT2 temps and lets u adjust the tune for my timing. More timing = more power.

yes a tune is required for meth to see any improvement. If you dont tune for it u will still see cooler iat2 temps but u your afr will run rich. But trust me, its worth it. Meth injection does ALOT for the cobalts once u start modding them and dropping the pulley size, especially to 2.8"
