In over my head
I got a shop to do an engine swap for me. A 2.0 lsj from a Saturn ion into a Cobalt ss that also had an lsj. I told them to use the wire harness from the Saturn because the one from the cobalt was chewed up and unusable. I got a call right after they dropped the engine in that the engine wire harness plugs don’t match for the fuse box connector. They refused to work on it anymore and pushed it out the door. Now I’m stuck with trying to splice in the connector for the cobalt and I have no clue what I’m doing. I took care of most simple wires but there’s like 10 different wires that are all labeled “ignition one voltage” and I don’t know if they’re interchangeable or not. Some are pink and white, some pink and black, and a few are just pink. There’s also a few wires that just don’t exist on either connector. I am at my whits end here.

I would just try and find a harness from another cobalt. The wires do interchange generally, but they could be fused for different amounts. Generally the most help you can get on wiring is someone posting the diagram, which is what you will need, unless you have a very specific question. Best of luck
