Projector Wiring>?

Hey guys my projectors just came in the mail and I have 1 question. In the "how to" it says to add a wire to the brown wire on the harness and a wire to the black wire on the harness it then says to attach the white wires to the wire attached to the brown wire in the harness, and attach the black wires to the wire attached to the black wire in the harness.

Is adding the extra wire to the brown and black wire just for cleaness or can I just add the white wires to the brown wire and the black wires to black wire without adding a wire?

Sorry for such a noob question, I am 99% sure I dont have to add a wire. I just want to make sure so I dont mess up. Thanks guys!

Also, HID kit is supposed to show up tomorrow WOOT!

It's just to keep it clean, easy to wire, and so you don't end up chopping out a lot of your stock harness if you mess up. If you want, just sheath off some of the jacket around the stock harness wires, and attach the wire so you're not actually cutting the stock wiring.

Thanks man, But what exactly does that mean? Pull back the coating on the wires a little bit up by the connecter as opposed to actually splicing into it?
