Like the Title says...i beleive that can happen...was at the track today..ran about 12 runs,one after the other....and my final run,took off,,,1st and 2nd gear okay...shift to 3rd and the car got kinda lost...boost was normal and speedo was goin up SLOWELY,but the rpm was around 5800 almost hitting redline...is that clutch slippage or overheated clutch,or maybe even over spinned belt..i did shift real fast from 2nd to 3rd(no powershift)..i let it sit for 2 hrs and went back to run,and no problems at all

 

when it overheats.. i thought that it slips.. no?

it can overheat if you drive it hard. then itll start slippin. drive it like a granny for a while and itll cool off

 

mine did this at the track as well after 3 runs and the springs would not retract and it was rubbing on the fly wheel I thought the clutch was broke but after letting it cool down for an hour all was good and have not had it back to the track yet ot see if this would still do this.

 

12 passes back to back is kinda hard on any car . Not to mention the clutches in these things aren't the greatest .
