p0171 why?
Specs: 2006 Cobalt SS S/C ZZP stage 2 3.0 Pulley 60# injectors Injen Intake with Can tune. Step colder NGK
I put the kit on at 70 k miles. I havent had issues at all but now after putting bad gas in ( Sams club) running out the tank and refiling about 6 times i keep getting a p0171 code and a random pinging noise from engine and times at idle. At first i had p0171 and a random misfire code but after changing fuel and clearing codes i only get p0171. When i look on live data it shows misfires only at idle. cylinder 1 shows around 5-11 cyl 2- 3-4 cyl 3-5-6 cyl 4 2-3 . I swapped spark plug 1 with 4 and misfires stayed the same.
Changed plugs- Still same
Swapped coil 4 with coil 1. - Still the same ( Misfire on 1 mostly)
I swapped injector 1 with injector 4 and the misfires kinda evened out. it shows more misfires on cylinder 4 then it does cylinder 1. Which brings me to believe i have a clogged or sticking injector on cylinder 1 ( now cylinder 4) .
Now i have a few questions
1) Before i go spending another 200 bucks on a set of injectors ( NO ONE SELLS JUST 1 DAMN 60# Injector!) is there anyting else that i should check ?
2) on ZZP website i saw GM fuel system cleaner. Says it can unclog dirty injectors etc. is it safe to run on my car with my modifications? Only asking because ZZP Says i must run with 93 Octane. Dont want to blow anything up now.
3) i Also checked my intake manifold bolts and made sure those were tight. I lubed the orings on the injectors. none looked torn or deformed.

this is the performance section not my car is broke section that section is located here Problems/Service/Maintenance - Cobalt SS Network when you post a code post the definition of the code and that can be found here(also in the problems service and maintenance section)
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/prob...-merged-12015/
you can send the injectors of to be checked /cleaned and get it retuned sounds like the fuel trims are off and put a wideband o2 guage in the car so you can see what the afr is doing
