P0300: Plug, Injector, or Tuning???

So about 6 months ago I installed OTT Stage 1 (2.8, 60's, 1step plugs, PCM, GM belt). Immediately the car was slower than before and ran like total ass. It threw the code P0301 repeatedly even after I'd reset the codes with my reader. My first assumption about this was that I was overheating due to only running a CAI and no REAL cooling mods.

Now, I'm running the following:
Injen CAI
OTT Stage 1 (2.8, 60's, 1step plugs, GM belt, PCM)
ZZP Header/DP Combo (1.75 primaries, 3" catless dp)
Custom 2.5" Magnaflow catback
ZZP S3 HE
OTT Dual-Pass Endplate
Option B

...and the car still runs like ****. AND still throws the same P0301 code.

I want to start swapping plug position and injector position to track down the bad part if there is one... can someone link me a diagram or something illustrating the spark/injector associated to cylinder number?

I'm going to be dyno tuned soon but I want to double check and recheck the status of all my spark plugs and injectors relating to the code before I waste time and money at a dyno.

The PCM is the same. Original PCM just retuned.

The code itself as stated is P0301 so it's a misfire on cylinder 1. It keeps coming back so definitely not random (I've reset the code atleast a dozen times).

Change plugs if you haven't already.. if the problem still exists.. Swap the coils on cylinder 1 and 2, see if the miss moves to #2. If it stays at cylinder 1, you can then try swapping injectors positions between cylinder 1 and 2...

So then does the cylinder number just go from left (passenger side) to right (drivers side)?

Maybe a stupid question but I havent found anything that actually says which is which.

The 60's are just notoriously known to not run 'well', especially at idle. Short reason being that they are a big injector on a small engine that doesn't require that much fuel at idle RPM ranges. I'm not a tuner, but from what I've heard it's pretty hard to tune A/F for the 60's to be 'perfect'. I have 60's with the Traiblazer throttle body and a RAW 3" intake and my idle sucks and I throw P0300's, sometimes often. Try different plugs and gaps and go from there. A custom tune could also help. My 2 cents...
