Got this code (P0315) after a vendor stage upgrade. Does anyone know what it means? I think it might be the crankshaft relearn. Does it damage the engine and what can I do to get it fixed?

if it is crankshaft relearn, you have to take it to the dealer to get that done.

 

yes it's the crank relearn... do not go into boost... and take it to a dealer ship, or someone with hptuners

 

I've already boosted on numerous occassions. I probably don't want to hear this but what's the worst that can happen?

I also threw a 315 crank code after a intense upgrade. I cleared it after a week with my tech2 scanner. I had to wait for my scanner to come in but, I didn't have any problems redlining with the light on. I'm also a ASE certified tech so I figured if I blew it up, I'll just fix it.

In Houston, I do the crank relearns for 50.00, If your from the net I do them for 40.00.
