if u are stock, no tune required. If you are tuned and have stage 2 and then get header/dp/exhaust u will require a new tune. But just with a header...no.

Brand new Pacesetter header Part # 70-1273. Its has 1 3/4" primaries and a 3" collector. It is listed on thier site for 05-06 cobalt SS 2.0 supercharged and 04-06 Saturn Redline 2.0 supercarged. On the box it says Cobalt and Ion.

I was going to put it on a 02 Ecotec 2.2l and it would bolt to the motor but the motor wasn't in a car.

So it should fit on the 2.2l Ecotec Cavaliers. I think it is basically the same header as pasesetter supplies for the 2.2 Ecotecs just with larger primaries to accomodate for larger horsepower gains for the supercharged motor.

Can u tell me if it will work for my 06 SS SC before i do buy it than k

bump

If its listed as a header for the 2.0 supercharged and redline then it will fit that. But i dont think it will fit the cavi. And thats not going to require a tune anyways.

be carefull with the pace setter header....I have read quite a bit about them being junk. And the fact that you have to have a custom dp made due to the ball/ socket style flange.

I had a custom flange welded to mine but be aware I hag to grind around the welds where the exhaust tubes meet the header flange due to the bolts no being able to go on due to the welds being so high
