As far as I can gather based on the GM parts catalogue sites, they're FE5's and they list them based on model years (2005-2007 SS/SC and 2008+ for SS/TC). Kind of like FE5 version 1 and 2.

• FE3 suspension – standard and available only on SS models, it delivers a firmer, more direct ride and includes 22-mm front and rear stabilizer bars, four-wheel disc brakes, monotube shocks and 17-inch wheels and performance tires

• FE5 suspension – standard on the SS Supercharged, it was developed on the racetrack to deliver sports car levels of handling and grip; 24-mm front stabilizer bar and 22-mm rear stabilizer bar, higher-rate springs and bushings, four-wheel disc brakes, monotube shocks and 18-inch forged aluminum wheels with complementing performance tires

^ Straight from CrateEngineDepot website...in other words almost every LSJ should have FE5 setup

Rear shock part numbers:
Item #22728821 2005-2007 60.10 each plus S&H

Item #25793745 2008+ 61.45 each plus S&H

Yeah I know, it doesn't seem to make much sense. They're pretty much identical. I'm sure there is not much difference at all between either one performance wise.

I guess that's what happens when you use vague thread titles...

Anywho, everyone keeps telling us that the SS/TC suspension is far superior to the SS/TC suspension; Couldn't tell you. There could be truth to it, or it could be total BS in an attempt to make the SS/TC look more impressive all around. If you dig around here, I know somebody has posted spring rates and stuff for both suspensions, should give you a good idea.

I'd take with a grain of salt the guys that have done conversions and say it's better, since they've gone from suspension parts that were probably pretty much shot to new parts.
