If worst comes to worst you may just have to use a bolt extractor or drill them out and retap the threads. That's the only thing I can think of if the bolt head is stripped and especially since the bit you have is screwed too. That way you could get some new bolts from PB or wherever which is probably what you'll have to do anyways. Keep us updated.

Want to sale one of those? My car came with stage two off the showroom floor, have no bit at all. Want to change my pully after I get some more miles on my car, but don't want to have to buy a Stage two kit just for the bit.

I am going to do this right, I am going to get a new S2 Hub and Bolts (and bits) and pull of the old hub and press on the new hub.

That is one "right" way to do it, but so is retapping the threads. It's not like fixing it with duct tape and a coat hanger or something. But if you don't have the time or tools, replacing the hub would be easier. Also, is there some way you can get the dealer to pay for a new hub since it was obviously installed wrong? Just an idea...

I have been thinking about that as well... I just don't want them to be like:

"Why were you taking the bolts out in the first place..."
"Ohh whats that in your hand? Your warrenty? Ill be voiding that, thanks."

I see what you mean. It's hard to think of a legitimate reason why you would be taking the belt off. You could play dumb and say that you wanted to change the belt because it looked like it may have some cracks in it and didn't know that there was a tensioner. You tried to get the pulley off to get the belt off and the bits broke, etc...Or just go in there and don't even make an excuse. I mean it is your car and you can take the pulley off if you want to. It's not like they can void your warranty if you take a wheel off. If they ask any questions as to why you were taking it off just say you were checking to see if the kit was installed properly...and it wasn't!

Also, how do you plan on getting just a new hub? Are you going aftermarket or is there a way to get just the GM hub?

I bought a slightly used hub assembly (with bolts and bit) from a nice member on this forum.
