Okay guys, for those of you in southern Alberta especially, this company http://westersgarage.eidnet.org/scprice.htm needs someone's 2.0 pcm for testing to re-write the program. They have done the 2.4 already and another member is getting it done as we speak. I phoned and said that they don't even need the car at first just the pcm so they can read the code. Check out their site and if someone can help them out perhaps we can truly change our PCM's for what ever reason. Personally I want to alter the rpm's but others will want to custom tune their cars.

 

Yeah i heard the news on another forum that i read. They broke the 2.4L PCM. What kind of horse5hit is that? Oh well, give it time, i hope they can break the 2.0L SS/SC pcm, so that i just buy the parts myself and just skip over the entire stage kit BS.

 

Raising the RPM's is a bad idea if you don't replace the springs and rockers! Trust me, my 1st engine didn't like them stock, never mind with a higher RPM!

 

I plan on doing the complete 300+hp build prior to raising the rev limiter. We just need someone to let them use their pcm to work on the code as they do not have a 2.0 to work on and I live too far away.
