Ok so i did post this question on an opean thread but no one responded because the thread is so old... Anyway...
Will I know if my filter falls off? its on very tight but iam very cautios...

well if it sounds like something is bouncing around in the wheel well, that's a pretty good indication! 
if you're worried about it you can put a strap across it. What I did before I got my intake was I put a screw through the airbox, and into the rubber part at the top of the filter to hold it in place. never came off, or came loose.

the one day when i had my 2.2 i was working on it with my CAI and i forgot to put the filter on when i swapped to the SRI so when it fired up i knew something was wrong it was making noise and running rough so in a short answer yes you will notice if it comes off
