I'm going to port my own blower and should be able to have it done in a day. What kind of tuning will this require? Thanks guys

The whole porting process should take about 3 hours of disassembly and reassembly.

You need to retune you MAF and possibly VE

Here is CGSS's blower from yesterday. I love the black blower look.

If you want to know how they sound, go listen to Cameron's flyby video! *covers ears*

He broke a Valve. He had no knock, and was running safe timing, and race gas. The valves in these cars have a tendency to break under repeated stress. It came from racing a few hard runs back to back. Gilbert did the same thing to his motor and broke a Valve. If you need a valve, I know someone that has a sack of them in case you ever need to repair your car Rage915. Just don't go beat the crap out of your thinking it won't return the favor someday! :-)

If you go mild you shouldn't need tuning. Afterall, intense doesn't even offer different tunes for the Stage 4 and 5, and they are the same tune, and completely different characteristics! LOL, but don't take my word for it.

It's best to get tuning, because there is not much purpose for the mild one, and lots of risk for the crazy one. Just go 1/4 around only on the center triangle, and only smooth the smaller ovals, don't widen them.

You don't need a tune for it unless you port it A LOT. If you get a normal porting you should be fine.

It is useful in helping you make a relative judgement on if your car is making more power after making changes.

i'll agree with that to an extent, however useing its read out as a "power clame" is a joke!

you must remeber that its calculations are based of RPM, engine load, MAF readings, ect...not the most consistent things to go by but it does its best for what it is....
