pics of TB Cleaning?
I have an ingen (sp?) intake right now. I want to clean the TB due to idle bouncing...
From what I read, it was not hard. What do you recommend to clean it with? and then how do I clean it? Do I have to remove it from the car or can i clean it still attached? If I remove it, is there a gasket that I need to replace?
thanks

You need to remove it.
There is no gasket to replace.
Carburator cleaner from autozone or what ever works just fine.
Looser gunk sprays right off... use a rag (less lint the better) to clean off the other stuff..
Be careful of the butterfly (the metal flap in the TB) as to not hurt it by being too rough.. but you can lift this to get to the areas that need cleaning.

brake parts cleaner works great on just about everything..also make sure u clean around the rim of the butterfly and hold the throttle body so that no cleaner even carb cleaner runs to the sensor.
