Sweet deal. Are you talking about unhooking the tranny linkage cables? They just pop off with some upward force. Small crow bar or ratchet extension should do the trick.

I think you could have saved some serious time by dropping it all from the bottom. SInce you don't have a lift though, it is understandable. Go get some rest man. It's morning where I'm at, so it has to be late or really early in the morning for you.

Holy sheet! That a tight schedule. Get off the computer and back to work then! You're definately on a serious time crunch. Make sure you labeled the rods and stuff for easy reassembly. Oh, Melling Red engine assembly lube is probably the only thing you should use for reassembly. Use is copiously too to prevent any damage from the first start!

I hear you on the place being a mess. My garage was all jacked up for a week on my headgasket install, as I only got to work a few hours each night during the week. My grass got pretty damn long as well. Waiting on parts sucks horribly, but when they do come in it's like Christmas!

I chased the UPS guy down the street into another neighborhood before. Don't laugh. I've also driven right the the UPS truck station and got my package off their pallets!
