piston direction?

piston direction?

i pulled my lsj apart and didn't mark which way the pistons came out. just wondered if it
mattered on this engine

There usually is a liTTle arrow or doT sTamp in The Top of The pisTons.. ThaT would poinT Towards The fronT of The engine

yea i looked for that i didn't see anything on the top. and my pistons are clean the read. all i see is the word saab and some numbers

Hmm well i would put them in with the first letter towards the front of the engine. I never payed attention to my stockers cuz they went on the wall

if they are still on the rod put the side that has gm to the front

if you did not demount the pistons on the con rod on side has gm in it and that points to the timing side of the engine
