Here is the story of Tyler and I.... I was in Lima Ohio working on some computers at a hospital. He contacted me because his car wasn't right.. Wouldn't idle and etc and was slower then ****. He gets to me and says Tom tuned it. I said Tom did a fine job but trims are way off and you have a **** ton of knock. Then once I start tuning I noticed iat2s... Ic pump was out.. Which was the main reason for it not running right... So I still tuned him but I made sure to keep it real conservative.


Well he goes back to Tom because he replaced the ic pump and says Tom tune is better! Well Tyler that's because he gave you more timing because your ic pump is fixed... So then he gets meth installed, and who is he always calling ? Me .... And Robert Karr... Weird huh... So he asks me to tune his car on meth, so I said yes but if he went to another tuner again I'm not touching it. Well I tune him on meth and bam, he said holy **** this car is ******* fast.. Yup.... Well a Lil down the road he buys a tvs and asked me to send (Tom) a base file. Why would I need to send Tom a base of he's the best? But I didn't send him a base because he wasn't planning on getting it tuned for a month or so. So I said no so he had Tom tune him... Seems kinda untrustworthy and immature because he got pissed when I said no... And then I see him posting vids up of him racing, when he doesn't even have a license ... So I immediately tell him, respect your car and grow up. Well as you can tell other people tell him this. So everyone I know that knows him is just waiting for him to go to jail or pop.

 

And When Tyler gets tuned by either of us he says "the tuner at the time, that his time is much better"...

 

&& then you came back to me after all this & said you'd be willin to send me a base file .. And of course when you tuned me for meth it's gonna be faster. I wasn't expecting it to be slower... && idk where you keep getting that Tom is the best. I never said that. I did say he's made better TVS numbers than you FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN. && why does it matter if my engine goes? It can be replaced. Every engine is gonna go out eventually.. I've seen Pictures from Cardtedt... He beat on his car & it blew.. Look who tuned him, and still is tunin him.. So obviously you have no problem with him beating on his car because HE'S ON YOUR TUNE

 

He's mature. And Tyler he was making we over Toms numbers lol and he passed the unreliable numbers for stock pistons and sleeves... And his fueling system he had wasn't up to par. Idcs of 100-130% so he didn't have good fuel..... And?

I told you I'd be willing to send you a base if you came down for the tune. But you said you couldn't do I didn't.

 

And Tyler I talk to all my guys about respecting there car. Ask them if you want to know. I've made several posts, threads, calls, texts, and etc about it....

 

You can say he was making anything.. Just like you do with 90% of your other cars.. But when it comes down to proving anything, you can't.

Not swinging on James nuts but I do see a lot of different dyno charts from cars he has tuned, but I always see someone saying James has no proof???.... Just doesn't make sense.

Just recently didn't he get a 20g to hit 400whp on 89 oct? That's pretty damn good, prob aggressive as hell but a very good accomplishment for a tuner.

 

Knowing him, he prolly had race gas in it.. just kidding..
but yes, he did acheive those numbers.. But I always see him claiming numbers he can't prove.. He can prove some good numbers though, like what you're talking about, like the kid with stock turbo making 362.. but i have never seen TVS numbers from him.. but i'm done with this argument. It's gonna get us no where..

I'd be down for sure. and stock clutch is on it's way out.. waiting for it to go out and have it replaced, and then I plan on tracking it. Then, maybe we can go to a track together sometime.

 

my car rarely got beat on..it say redline mayb a couple times unless i was spinning..it blew to MY own stupidity for now upgrading my fueling from 80's to 1000's when my 80's were maxed and not uprgrading the fuel pump hell im still on the stock fuel pump with this set up cuz i havent put my new 1 in...so it had nothing to do with his tune it was my own fault...so before u go around saying i beat on my car u should prolly know how i drive it..ive put up lik 3 videos and all of them were basically jus me trying to catch traction not takin it to redline and as far as numbers who knows wut i put down i nvr take mine to the dyno cuz thers no real need to i prolly have 1 of the highest hp tvs cars without a nitrous shot if not mayb more than sum with nitrous and its mostly thanks to james tuning my car and ill reccommend him to anyone that needs a tune

 

JAMES, I live 25 minutes from him, let me get my injectors seals on tune for full e then well see how his tvs holds up ahahha. But no joke Tom does know the tvs setup.

 

Fully bolted LNF on E for tvs and meth.. Hmm, wonder who'd win. You make 350+, maybe 360+.. I make about 330-340..

 

It's conservative, and slow boost ramp my stock clutch slips, so on full e, I'd guess 340. But you have no lag and a different power band so... Should be good.
