Pop sound when downshifting/help with muffler

Everyone once in a while i get a pop sound when I down shift into 3rd to 2nd.
Alll I have is a catless dp on. Could it be hitting something when downshifting?

Also I need any ideas on a new muffler on a stock exhaust with a zzp catless " knows it will be loud"

Probably just the exhaust. Just get a large resonator. It should help.

you could switch to zzps catted downpipe, they use a high flow cat that barely eats any horse and will sound a lot better.

Its probably just unburnt fuel cooking off in the exhaust, I even have a cat and I get it ever time I lift.

You are heel toe down shifting right? Or at the very left rev matching.

All the clips of them I've heard all sound like outboard boat motors.

Eh.. no I don't think its that. When I downshift in a low gear I get a pop sound from under the front.. don't get it when rev matching.
