Popping noise from passenger front

06 Cobalt SS supercharged. Having problem with the passenger front. Felt a noise in the tire got it checked out and it was the innershaft bearing. Replaced that and also replaced the hub assembly. Everything was fine for 3-5 days then the car started popping when i would go forward or backwards and would pop worse if i was backing up a hill or when i turn to back into a parking spot. Everything said and done we thought it would be the cv joint. Replaced that also. then again 3-5 days it did the same thing. I have replaced the cv joint and hub assemly 4 times now. We also thought it might be in the strut mount so i got new shock struts and strut mounts. Didnt make a difference. Still was popping. Anyone know what it could be. ITS SO ANNOYING!

Most likely control arm bushins, sway bar end links or swaybar bushings. Just get moog replacements for the cabs or end links, cheap and quality is better than oem, I found then on amazon. I think zzp might at least sell the moog end links. And if it's sway bar bushings as was my case I picked up duralast ones from autozone that have been working great. Here's something that will help with diagnosis. Take off the sway bar end links then drive around. If noise is gone then it's the endlinks or sway bar bushings. With the end links off the sway bar isn't moving anymore so therefore could be the sway bar bushings as was my case.

I feel your pain. I had a popping noise in the front passenger side and went through a lot to finally figure out the problem. First replaced sway bar end links, then passenger side strut mount, then control arm bushings, then upgraded to tc struts(wanted to anyways), tried to replace intermediate shaft bearing but broke a pair of snap ring pliers and bought another that wouldn't open it wide enough so put everything back together. Then replaced the sway bar bushings and the noise went away finally.
