no...its fine. It doesnt really increase the amount of air, just removes a restriction in the outlet side so the air doesnt get compressed as much. But the number of air molecules will remain the same

..didnt i just say what it does? ^^ lol. It doesnt do a lot in the way of performance. An intake will probably post better gains, but porting it makes the SC sound pretty nice.

i didnt say there werent any gains, im just saying porting will not yield a large power gain. its similar to running an intake...not a huge boost in power, but noticeable. And ralliartist, I know how much it improves...mine is ported

intakes can add 15hp 15 tq. thats a good performance gain. how much does it cost to port you blower. thats what makes it a good gain or not.

i'm not exactly sure about the tuning, but i'm hear to drop a little info to the OP.

if you want someone to do a really good job of porting your s/c..... then get ahold of OTTP, they only charge like $250. you send them your s/c, they hook it up and send it back. a friend of mine just had his done from them and it looks amazing. he is about to install it

A member Euthanasia on here ported my supercharger and TB for $60. I was part of a group deal thoguh. He normally charges i think $200. Its a great port job that rivals most professional jobs (he's been working on cars his whole life). He can port the blower, port the TB, plug the silencer holes, polish the blower...etc. Everything you could want, and any combination of the above.

My blower is ported and I believe it adds a few whp and wtq and lowers iat's by a few degrees if I'm not mistaken. Not a bad mod. I love mine

I think its 1-1.5mm on each side... ive heard doing it too much can actually cause you to lose efficiency.

i meant to say 2 - 2.5
