ported eaton

just wondering what everybodys input is on porting the eaton? i used to own a 2001 lightning and porting the sc showed very impressive gains, i know of a company called POSI PERFORMANCE and they showed a mere dynoed 30 hp gain by race porting the eaton and matching the throttle body as well, very reputable company as they have the fastest eaton powered 03 cobra in the world running 9s with no nitrous and race ported eaton, race port is $375, im surprised i dont see many balts on here that run ported eatons but then again im new to the forums, im considering either the race ported eaton or the beastly tvs. and yes the silencer holes do make it scream loud and DO NOT port the silencer holes that makes absolutley no sense at all, thats the beauty of the ss sc is to hear the supercharger scream and fill them in!! lol i had the race ported eaton with silencer holes filled and it was stupid loud

There was at one time a company that offered porting for the m62, but I don't think many people did it.

Mine is ported, couldn't really tell a difference besides a slight drop in boost and IAT2s.

TVS is greater than porting.

a local shop ported it for me and I also plugged the silencer holes. Power gain like I said is not noticeable, but I can tell it is more efficient because of the lower IAT2s and slight boost decrease. A stock pulley TVS will blow every m62 out of the water, no comparison there.
